On January 29th, 2024, an online project meeting of the Learn Deep project was conducted. All partners participated in this meeting. Activities in work package 2 were discussed.
02 – Kick-off Meeting
The first project meeting of the Learn Deep Erasmus+ Project ‘‘Discover the Know-How of Construction Professionals’’ took place in Eskisehir, Türkiye, from 13 to 14 March 2024. The project activities are discussed in the meeting.

04 – Third Project Meeting
Project Meeting in Vilnius, Lithuania 🇱🇹
As part of the 2023 Erasmus+ Vocational Education Programme (KA220-VET – Cooperation Partnerships in Vocational Education and Training), supported by the Turkish National Agency under the Presidency for EU Affairs, the third transnational meeting of the project “Discover the Know-How of Construction Professionals” (Project No: 2023-1-TR01-KA220-VET-000150804) was successfully held between May 7–9, 2025, in Vilnius, Lithuania.
05 – Final Meeting
Project Title: Discover the Know-How of Construction Professionals

The final meeting of the Erasmus+ project “Capturing the Know-How of Professionals in Construction Using Online Learning”, led by Prof. Dr. Gökhan Arslan from Istanbul Aydın University and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Serkan Kıvrak from Eskisehir Technical University, is being held at Eskisehir Technical University. The project aims to align civil engineering education with Industry 4.0 and to present sectoral experience through a digital platform.
The closing meeting brings together researchers from Lithuania,Türkiye, and Poland who specialize in digital transformation in the construction industry, alongside project partners from Vilnius Technical University, Warsaw University of Technology, and the Polish Chamber of Construction Managers. The meeting will conclude on Saturday, November 29, following two days of academic sessions. Through this project, civil engineering education will be harmonized with emerging Industry 4.0 technologies. Documented sectoral experiences will be integrated into academic education, digitized, and transformed into problem-solving.
06 – Pilot Workshop
Project Title: Discover the Know-How of Construction Professionals

Today, at the Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University, Department of Civil Engineering, we successfully conducted the first pilot test of our newly developed e-learning platform.
In the era of Industry 4.0, technical knowledge alone is not enough. The construction industry relies heavily on “tacit knowledge” the know-how and experience that often stays in the minds of experts. Our goal is to capture this knowledge and transfer it to the next generation of engineers.
We brought together 17 of our dedicated Civil Engineering students to test the system infrastructure and user experience. Their participation and real-time feedback provided us with invaluable insights to optimize the platform before its full launch.
